Customer Success Specialist

Join the team behind the UK’s leading livestock app, helping over 6,500 farms manage 2.8 million cattle worldwide. As a Customer Success Specialist, you’ll support farmers and supply chain users to get the most from Breedr, answering queries, troubleshooting issues, and turning farmer feedback into real product improvements. You’ll need a solid understanding of farming (ideally cattle), great communication skills, and a genuine desire to make farmers’ days better.

Who are we?

Breedr launched its Precision Livestock Management app in 2019 and is on the mission to empower farmers, processors and food retailers with tools to produce transparency, traceability, environmentally and commercially sustainable meat, safeguarding the future of their business and plant. It now supports over 2.8 million cattle from 6,500 farms across the UK, EU, US and Australia. We are constantly developing a suite of tools which will help farmers make better informed decisions improving animal management and animal health to deliver a production base fit for the future.

 Customer Success Specialist
Key responsibilities:  

Provide Customer Support to Farmers and Users:

  • Communicate directly with farmers and supply chain users. 
  • Support users to use the app and enhance their experience and usability of Breedr. 
  • Manage emails, live chat and telephone lines to support our farmers 
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues, identify source of the problem, and work with the tech team to offer solutions and deliver them back to the customer
  • Use multiple softwares to produce and maintain farmer friendly guides to aid farmers whilst using the app. 
  • Manage user subscriptions in a timely manner
  • Proactive project management to enhance the customer success team

Contribute to Software Design and Development

  • Review farmer feedback and translate requirements of improvements to the tech team
  • Become a Breedr superuser to be able to suggest improvements and resolve potential issues in the development process
  • Carry out regular testing to identify bugs within the software
  • Take part in quality testing before new features are released to our users
  • Communicate farmers needs and requirements to the global team to streamline processes

About You


  • Proactive and trustworthy to work independently in a remote environment
  • Motivated to continually learn and develop new skills
  • Able to work on multiple different tasks and prioritise the most important, managing your own time
  • Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently, using your initiative
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills internally and externally
  • Some agricultural experience is essential - ideally within the cattle industry. 
  • A desire to make farmers’ days better
